The earlier incident between a van and a lorry on the A376 Exmouth Road has now been cleared and traffic is flowing normally.
A two-car incident between a van and lorry was causing heavy delays to traffic heading towards Exmouth and Exeter. The lorry is blocking the southbound lane towards Exeter at Exton, outside the Texaco garage.
The incident happened by the Texaco Garage on the outskirts of Exton around 12pm this afternoon (Friday Jan 6).
The Devon and Cornwall Polie traffic watch says: "A376 Exmouth Road Southbound blocked, heavy traffic due to accident at Texaco Petrol Station."
