Exmouth restaurant Samphire21 have announced that, after being open for less than year, they are now closing until further notice.
In a statement on Facebook they said: "First of all, we would like to wish everyone a happy new year and thank you for the support over the last year. We have enjoyed catering for you all.
"It’s with regret that we have made the decision to pause samphire21 until further notice.
"The catering industry is facing some very challenging times ahead and we believe that this is the right option for us. We will of course keep you all updated in the future.
"All gift card remaining balances will be refunded and any concerns then please email enquiries@samphire21.co.uk."
The Samphire21 resturant opened in March 2021 and is located on the Beacon, inside the Manor Hotel offering a mix of fine dining and classic dishes. The restaurant was managed by Peter Mundy, an award-winning chef.
