Withycombe Raleigh Primary School in Exmouth has held a Christmas Jumper Day and other festive events to celebrate the end of term.

On Wednesday (December 14), the school held a Christmas Jumper and Dinner Day, where pupils tucked into a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings and a cracker to pull. The school then hosted a karaoke-style sing along in the school hall.

The 14th was also the schools Celebration Day. The day began with a 'Christmas Crawl' to promote active travel to school, every pupil dressed up as festively as possible and decorated their bikes and scooters in festive attire while walking to school together signing Christmas carols.

On November 30, the school also held a Christingle Service and last week we had their nativity performances. For the first time since covid families were invited back to see the nativity performance.

A spokesman for Witycombe Raleigh School said: "It was really special to have everyone in again. We had three performances of the nativity across the week starting with Year 2, then Year 1 and finishing with the Foundation children. This always puts us into the Christmas spirit and the children did a great job learning all the lines and songs."
