If you saw lots of people running around Exmouth seafront last weekend, dont be alarmed it was the return of the Age UK Santa Run.

Taking place on Sunday December 11 a stream of runners dressed as Santa were seen running along Exmouth seafront helping to raise vital funds for older people across Devon.

There were two distances, a 5km and a 2.5km, available to runners.  Both started and finished at Beach Gardens on Queens Drive and travelled along the shared pavements of Exmouth's beautiful seafront.

As part of the entry all participants were provided with either a Santa suit or hat which they were encouraged to wear to transform themselves into the most famous gift giver of all.

Everyone received a Santa inspired finishers medal, water bottle and celebratory mince pie when they crossed the finish line.

A spokesman for Age Uk said: "We would like to thank all our runners for supporting Age UK Devon.  We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year's event on Sunday 10 December 2023."
