Children from Brixington Primary Academy visited the Raleigh Manor Care Home to entertain its residents on Grandparents’ Day, Sunday October 2.
Twenty members of the school choir attended with the Head of School, Stuart Dyer, and sang a variety of songs.
They also brought with them their entries for the Grandparents’ Day card colouring competition, run by the care home. Three winners will receive vouchers for Ocean Soft Play.
The general manager of Raleigh Manor, Laura Coupe, said: “It was a very special day for the residents and the perfect way to celebrate National Grandparents Day.
“With Exmouth being a community with large groups of young and of old, the opportunity to bring these two groups together has benefits for both.
“Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.”
