TOPSHAM History group will be presenting a talk on the history of a local family who owned a sugar plantation in Barbados.
Ken Buttel will be giving a presentation on the Buttel Family Enterprises, who at one time owned Retreat House as well as a sugar plantation with slaves in Barbados.
The talk will be held at Topsham Museum on Thursday, February 5, at 2.30pm.
