Asda has pulled out of Exmouth, so just let it lie. There is obviously nothing else to worry about in certain sections of the community as it rules their sad little lives. I read recently a really silly excuse for a letter to the tune of We are sailing.

There is obviously nothing else to worry about in certain sections of the community as it rules their sad little lives.I read recently a really silly excuse for a letter to the tune of We are sailing. I can only say: "What planet is the writer from?" The Exmouth Journal has printed hundreds of letters in recent months, both for and against the Asda store, in what can only be described as good journalism. So, why some sad individual would make a personal attack, in the form of a pathetic verse about the editor of the Journal, who has been nothing but fair in the debate, is beyond me. I can understand why the person's name was withheld and yet Mr Griffin still allowed them to have their say within his pages. Well done, Mr Griffin, and grow up the song-writer - you give the Exmouth Citizens' Forum a bad name!Sandy Tamlin, Exeter Road, Exmouth.
