JOURNALIST and broadcaster George Alagiah will be in Exeter as part of Fairtrade fortnight.
JOURNALIST and broadcaster George Alagiah will be in Exeter as part of Fairtrade fortnight.
George, who grew up in Sri Lanka and Ghana, will speak about his personal experience of poverty in developing countries on Friday, March 6.
He will be talking at a business breakfast at the Abode Hotel and follow-up with the hosting of the Go bananas for Fairtrade event at the University of Exeter, at 3pm.
Students will be taking part in a record breaking banana eating attempt.
