DEDICATED young people are being rewarded for commitment they show to reading.
Children aged six and upwards will receive a badge from Topsham Library as a mark of achievement for reaching 100 books.
Sue Parr, senior assistant librarian, said the initiative had been running for more than 15 years.
She added: "It is a successful scheme. The children can select any book they want, either fiction or non-fiction, and then comment on them. It gives them reading to do outside of school."
The scheme is ongoing and is run across all libraries in the area.
