EXMOUTH'S RNLI crew were on Sunday called to help rescue a broken down jet-ski near Pole Sands.
The inshore lifeboat crew had been taking part in a training exercise when a call was received that four people were in difficulty.
The lifeboat crew towed the stricken jet-ski to Mamhead slipway.
Three of the party stayed with the vessel while the fourth member made his own way back to shore to collect their car.
