FOR more than two decades, Daniel Neaves has been developing his experience as a hairdresser. In that time, not only has he catered for his customers needs, but he has also strived to learn more to develop his profession.

This has included attending seminars across the country and entering competitions, where he has been able to watch and learn from other professionals.

It all started in 1987, when he took up hairdressing in Sidmouth, and he knew then it was a career for life.

Among the shows he has taken part in are the Cosmopolitan magazine show in Earls Court, Clothes Show Live, at Birmingham NEC, and London Fashion Week.

His career has gone on in leaps and bounds since then, giving his own seminars in many different countries, acting as a UK ambassador for Revlon and doing many photo shoots.

With all this as part of his experience, he runs the highly successful DKN salon, in Budleigh Salterton.

He has also been a long-term friend of The Journal.
