Award-winning musicians come to Budleigh Salterton

AN award-winning cappella group is performing in Budleigh Salterton's St Peter's Church on Saturday August 29 at 7.30pm.

The award-winning octet, VOCES8, has established itself as the foremost young British cappella group performing a repertoire ranging from early polyphony to unique jazz and popular arrangements.

Founded in 2003, the group first achieved success in 2005, winning first prize at the International Choral Grand Prix in Gorizia, Italy.

Since then VOCES8 has performed widely in the UK, throughout Europe, the USA and Africa.

Tickets are �12.50, half price for full-time students available at the Lawn Bakery and Lesleys in Budleigh Salterton, Eagle House in The Strand in Exmouth, the Tourist Information Centre at the Swimming Pool in Sidmouth and at Opus Classical in the Guildhall Centre, Exeter.
