THE Glenorchy Church in Exeter Road has brought a brand new grand piano for use in its popular lunchtime concerts - and the inaugural performance takes place later this month.
THE Glenorchy Church in Exeter Road has brought a brand new grand piano for use in its popular lunchtime concerts - and the inaugural performance takes place later this month.
The inaugural concert on will be by Duncan Honeybourne, a well regarded young professional pianist, on Saturday November 28 at 2.30pm in the church.
Michael Chanter of the Church said: "The piano will also be available for other organisations who wish to hold concerts in the church.
"Music will include the Schumann Fantasy along with other works by Chopin and Brahms."
Tickets are priced �3 on the door to include tea/coffee in the interval.
