THE police are appealing for help to clamp down on motorcyclists who use the common near East Budleigh.
The village's neighbourhood policing team wants to hear from witnesses who spot motorcyclists riding on the land, or sees them exiting or entering the common via East Budleigh.
Neighbourhood beat manager PC David Lea said: "Anyone seeing vehicles on Woodbury Common is asked to obtain registration numbers of the bikes, or any car with trailers used to transport them to site.
