The NSPCC is appealing for residents in Exmouth to come forward and do their bit to help end cruelty to children.
On Friday January 29, and again the following day, the NSPCC will hold collections outside Tesco supermarkets in Exmouth and Honiton.
The charity is appealing for volunteers to help collect much-needed cash for the cause.
It is hoped people can spare around two hours each.
Community fundraising manager Donna Statham said: "We have some great volunteers in Exmouth and Honiton and they have already agreed to cover eight hours each day.
"But the stores are open for much longer than that and if we have people on site for longer we will raise more money and be able to make even more of a difference to children."
