PEOPLE of all ages had a flipping good time at St Peter's Hall in Budleigh Salterton when pancakes were served for a special Shrove Tuesday meal.
Around 100 people enjoyed pancakes made by volunteers for an event in aid of the Church Mission Society which raised 258.
Alan Matlock, 79, of Cricket Field Lane, helped cook. He joked: "Everybody had a good time I think, although I couldn't quite gauge to what extent as I was in the kitchen cooking for most of the time."
The Church Mission Society is a religious voluntary society which helps people live in a mission lifestyle.
John Harewood, 86, who helps organise the event which has been held in Budleigh for around 12 years, said it was great to see so many people attend and have fun.
