ARMED police on Tuesday night arrested a 21-year-old Exmouth man on suspicion of robbery.

At around 8.30pm an armed response team and Exmouth CID cordoned off New Street while the arrest took place.
The police said the man remains in custody at Heavitree Road Police Station, in Exeter.
Last week police were called to Tesco Express, in Rolle Street, Exmouth, after reports of a man with a firearm.
A 20-year-old man from Exmouth has already been arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and remains on police bail.
