It is entirely possible that a spell in a psychiatric unit might do me the world of good (stop cheering at the back there).
Now, though, I have read that a top Spanish judge has suggested that open opposition to the EU could be dealt with in another way. A charge of blasphemy would sidestep all the trouble of dealing with people like me under common law.
Blasphemy! Crikey, I knew these people thought they were better than the rest of us, but to consider themselves deities is carrying things a bit far, isn't it? The way blasphemy was once punished is interesting, too. There were lots of choices, namely:
Imprisonment, branding, piercing of the tongue with a red hot poker, death, corporal punishment and any other 'orrible thing they could dream up.
Not even the unanswerable-to-anyone European Commission would go that far, would they? Are you quite sure? I will tell you what, those people scare the living daylights out of me!
