An Exmouth care home is celebrating being recognised for its work with dementia patients.
Specialist-dementia establishment Rose Lodge care home, in Isca Road, has achieved a two-star award by the Quality Care Commission.
To celebrate its award the home is holding an open day and garden party on June 19, from 10am-4pm, and is inviting the town to join in its success.
A host of entertainment has been planned, including live music and circus acts.
There will also be a number of stalls.
All proceeds will benefit the residents' activity fund.
Manager Carol Brice said: "We are so proud of this official recognition of what we have achieved. We would love for everyone to join us in our celebration.
