A FUNDRAISING Littleham woman is lacing up her walking boots in readiness for a trek across the Great Wall of China, in aid of charity.
Julia McCracken is to take part in WaterAid’s charity walk along the wall, built originally to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire against intrusions by various nomadic groups.
WaterAid is a non-governmental organisation. Its mission is to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities.
Ms McCracken will soon be raffling off a wooden rocking horse at the Westpoint Christmas Fayre to raise additional funds.
