PLANS for changes to be made at a property in Exe Street, Topsham, have been submitted to Exeter City Council.
A planning application put forward to the local authority, relating to the Barn House, calls for a ground floor extension on the north elevation, a balcony on the west elevation, chimney, windows, rendering and weatherboardings on all levels.
Additional applications submitted to the council include plans for a number of alterations at Riversmeet House, Riversmeet.
Proposals comprise of a first floor extension, roof lights, alteration to the drive, tennis court and pavilion as well as a replacement garage.
An appeal against refusal for change to be made at a house in Monmouth Hill, Topsham, has been rejected.
The planning application called for the removal of a door at ground floor level, the removal of dormer windows and the creation of roof balconies.
Additional appeals dismissed by the city council include plans for a single-storey extension on the rear of a property in Sunhill Avenue.
A large eucalyptus tree, meanwhile, has been spared the axe.
Planners decided to maintain a tree preservation order on the specimen in Follett Road despite objections from some residents who argues the tree was non-native and not in keeping with the area.
