A FIRE broke out at a flat in Exmouth yesterday morning, January 24.
The incident happened at around 7.35am in Rolle Street.
Two fire crews attended the scene with watch commander Clarke in charge.
Upon arrival, the crews found a fire in the bedroom of a second floor flat.
The police closed off Rolle Street by the junction with High Street and near Bicton Street for around 30 minutes to allow the fire service to deal with the incident.
One hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to put out the fire.
A spokesperson for Exmouth police said it appeared there was no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
