BRIXINGTON School children presented a cheque for �820 to a local charity folowing a series of fundraising efforts.
Children raised the money for Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare following a collection over the festive period and a non-uniform day.
A total of �470 for the charity was raised in a recent Mufti Day organised by the School Council. Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare is the school’s Charity of the Year.
The cheque was presented to vice chairman of the charity Frances Longhurst and nurse Kay England.
A spokesperson for the school said: “Thank you to all those who took part and gave a donation.”
