A ride along Exmouth seafront in a 1925 Morris Cowley convertible was a surprise laid on for Pearl Nicholas’ 90th birthday.
Sue Alford and Graham Walters, from World of Country Life, organised the treat for Pearl, from Exmouth.
Sue said: “She is a lovely lady and we wanted to do something nice for her on this special birthday.”
Pearl has lived in the town for many years, originally moving to Exmouth with her late husband, Maurice, manager of Leonard’s shoe shop in the town centre.
Before their retirement, the pair ran a greengrocer at Brixington Parade shops.
