Two key dates in the Budleigh Lions Club diary have been postponed due to the extended Covid restrictions.
Members of the organisation had to cancel their planned July bingo session and jumble sale. However, both events have been rescheduled for Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11 respectively.
During August, the Lions are holding a spot the stranger competition throughout the town, (sponsored by L’Image). There are 72 strangers to find in total!
Entry forms are available in the town for £1 from L’Image, The Card Shop Too, Reflections, the Tourist Information Centre and OB’s Coffee House.
A bingo night, ‘where’s the treasure buried’ competition and Sea Front Fayre will all be held during the August Bank Holiday Monday between 10am and 5.30pm which will include a pebble building and design competition from 10am to 12 noon for all the family.
It’s eyes down for the bingo session at 7.30pm on Friday September 10 and the following day’s jumble sale starts at 2pm. Both events are being staged in the Public Hall and will raise funds for the Budleigh Salterton Carnival Club.
