THE OTTER Valley Association has set up a community funded project, withawards of £1,000, to spur the public into protecting the environment.The association will support groups financially who want to undertake environmental projects but cannot fund it themselves.Initially, the committee wanted to target youth in the surrounding areas but they have decided to broaden the applicants.Applications can be made by visiting www.ova.org.uk Currently, the closing date for applications is mid-January but this can be brought forward.
