30/12/2008: TRIBUTES are pouring in for a 20-year-old 'unique' and 'amazing' Exmouth man who died on Christmas Eve after suffering serious injuries from a motorbike accident.
Timothy John Cockett - known by his friends as Timmy - had been riding a 125cc motorcycle along Montpellier Road last week when it hit a number of parked cars and a brick wall.
Since the accident the 20-year-old, of Merrion Avenue, had been on a life support machine with serious head and internal injuries at Derrfiford Hospital, Plymouth, after being transferred from Exeter's Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
He died 'peacefully' with his family around him on December 24.

The family said they would 'never be able to fill the space' caused by Timothy's death.
Mr and Mrs Cockett said they hoped their son was now at peace with his grandparents.
"You are now safe in the loving arms of Jesus - your spirit freed. We shall hold you in our hearts forever," said a family tribute.
Nestled among the floral tributes, left by friends, are cans of larger, a roll-up cigarette and cards and messages of love.
