TENANTS now have the chance to have their say over how their homes are run.
The Housing Review Board is looking for East Devon District Council tenants who are confident, articulate and able to work with others.
This is a crucial and challenging role and members must be willing to undertake training to help them to better represent tenants.
The Board meets at least four times a year in the evening, and each volunteer serves for a term of three years.
There would also be the chance to sit on short term sub-committees that deal with specific issues such as parking on the council’s estates, service restructuring or property re-let times.
If you are interested or want to know more please call Tenant Participation Officer Jane Reading on (01395) 51655 ext 2236 or email jmreading@eastdevon.gov.uk for an application form.
