Plans for a housing development on a former nursery site in Lympstone have been backed by the parish council.
The owners of the Holywell Nursery site in Courtlands Lane have applied to build two detached homes there.
Lympstone Parish Council discussed the plan this week, and decided to give its support.
Councillor Kathy Rogers said: “I would support it totally, as it’s actually going to make the area look very nice, and doesn’t look like it’s going to have any impact at all.”
East Devon District Council will make the final decision on planning permission.
