Revised plans to build 13 homes on a site near the middle of Lympstone have been submitted by developers.

Excalibur Homes originally proposed the scheme for land south of Jackson Meadow last year, but it was opposed by many local residents.

Lympstone Parish Council also objected, with concerns about the proposed access site to the development, which was echoed by the county highway authority, and possible flood risk due to water run-off.

Now Excalibur has come back with a revised scheme, which it says addresses the concerns about the road, and moves the proposed homes away from nearby elm trees.

The parish council will now again be asked for its views, before East Devon District Council makes a final decision on planning permission.
