Plans have been submitted to build 34 homes in Woodbury.
Devon and Cornwall Housing group have applied to build the homes – including 17 classed as affordable - on land north of Webbers caravan park in Castle Lane.
The site has been identified as suitable for housing in East Devon District Council’s strategic housing land availability assessment, and the scheme is described by the developers as: “A well balanced residential scheme … within a visually discrete low lying site.”
The developers also say that the scheme will provide improved road and footpath arrangements, and is close to village facilities.
Woodbury Parish Council will now get to have its say on the plans, before East Devon District Council makes the final decision.
