Plans to demolish a restaurant in Exmouth and replace it with seven houses have been withdrawn by the applicant, although revised plans are expected soon.
The application had been made to East Devon District Council concerning the site of Noble House in Stevenstone Road.
A letter to the planning authority from the applicant’s agent states that the proposal will be redesigned and resubmitted ‘as soon as possible’.
Exmouth Town Council’s planning committee had not raised any objections when consulted about the original plan.
