Plans to convert an Exmouth care home into 12 flats have been recommended for approval by East Devon District Council planning officers.
The plan for Magnolia House in Morton Road was previously opposed by Exmouth Town Council, which said it would be overdevelopment and there was not enough parking provision.
However, planning officers say the plan meets the required parking standards, and meets accepted guidelines for building conversions. EDDC’s development management committee will rule on Tuesday at 11am.
