Builders who are working on the new development at Exmouth’s Pierhead say the ‘challenging’ project is progressing well.

The £2.8million Spinnakers project, which will house 14 apartments, is the latest build by developer Eagle One around Exmouth Marina, and is being built by Midas Construction.

Midas’s project manager Stuart O’Higgins said: “Midas has constructed or completed 9 of the 16 developments in this part of Exmouth which now has around 300 residences. Because all the other apartment developments are now well established, Spinnakers has been a particularly challenging project in terms of the site’s small footprint and the difficulty of access.

“We are very conscious of being good neighbours and we have made every effort to keep people informed of what we’re doing and minimize disruption to their daily routine. Restrictions on weekend working have also had an impact on progress which is presently dependent on wind speed for the crane to progress the metal frame structure. Nevertheless, the development is progressing well.”

Apartments at Spinnakers are being marketed for between £525,000 and £1.25million.
