Plans to convert an Exmouth care home into flats have been approved by East Devon District Council.

The plan, which concerns 12 and 14 Morton Road, is for 10 flats, consisting of four with one bedroom, four with two bedrooms, and two with three bedrooms. Five parking spaces are also planned, with access onto Victoria Road.

The care home closed in 2015. The proposal includes extensions to the building.

Exmouth Town Council’s planning committee previously supported the application.
