Concern over Maer apartments plan

PUBLISHED: 15:00 15 December 2012

Plans to create three new apartments in Maer Road have been opposed by Exmouth Town Council.

The plan is to build the apartments at Spindrift, making a total of seven at the site.

Councillors said that the scheme would be overdevelopment, and would overlook neighbouring properties.

They also asked for South West Water to be consulted over possible backing up of surface water sewerage in the area.

East Devon District Council will make the final decision.
