East Budleigh eventually booked their place in the next round of the Devon Senior Cup overturning a 2-1 deficit with a couple of late goals to beat Hemyock.

After a promising, Budleigh went behind in the 17th minute, while Adam Wilkinson and Hugo Demetre went close for the Jays. The second period was a lot better from Budleigh, who levelled when Brad Hill created himself space to finish after good work by Guy Laverock.

Hemyock regained the lead six minutes later but Demetre was showing his class in the midfield, whilst James Bridge and Sam Balbi were dangerous on the flanks.

The Jays sent on Joe Bowden and Toby Hill in search of an equaliser which duly arrived with ten minutes to play, Laverock with the corner for Demetre to head home.

Minutes later Joe Day won the ball for Budleigh, Sam Balbi cut the ball back and it was Wilkinson who slid the ball into the net to complete the win.
