Police are currently investigating reports of anti-social behaviour involving schoolchildren 'harassing' the residents of Dening Court, Withycombe Village Road, Exmouth.
Police say that the elderly residents have been subject to school children at the end of the school day throwing apples and other objects at their windows.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police East Devon Rural Police team said: "Recently a youth threw a rock at one of the windows which resulted in criminal damage and caused upset to the occupiers.
"The youth has now been identified and is being processed by Exmouth Police. All other members of the group have also been identified and will be issued anti-social behaviour, (ASB) letters as part of the anti-social escalation process."
