Budleigh Salterton Lions Club has officially welcomed two new members.

The induction ceremony for Jo Jamieson and Tony Bott took place during the club's October Business Meeting, and coincided with a visit from the Vice District Governor Lion, Kevin Moore.

He took part in the ceremony, reading out the 'purposes' of Lions Club International.

Richard Allen, President of Budleigh Salterton Lions Club, said: "I am delighted to welcome Jo and Tony to our club. I am sure that they will both be excellent Lions and help us to carry out even more service activities. Both Tony and Jo have joined in with a number of club activities including litter picking and are already making a difference in our local community."
