A fundraising event – for refugees from war-torn countries – is taking place at Topsham’s Matthews Hall on Saturday, April 22, from 4pm to midnight.

“This is a fundraising event for those who, through no fault of their own, are fleeing from the war-torn ravages of their countries,” said an event organiser. “Please bring any unwanted and usable clothing, children’s clothing, toys, shoes, hats, blankets, and anything that you can comfortably give away.”

Reggae acts include Jabbrock (pictured), Jah Time Int and Vamonos.

Tickets (£10) and information from 01395 597653.
