Joe Stead – the leading authority in Britain regarding Paul Robeson – is appearing at two local venues to give a lecture on the successful athlete, singer, actor and advocate for civil rights.

Joe will be appearing at the Swan Inn, Lympstone, on Thursday, February 23, and at The Oddfellows in Exeter on Tuesday, February 28.

Joe Stead, who has both met and sung with Robeson, 
presents a fascinating insight into the life and times of this remarkable man, who possessed one of the finest voices of the 20th century.

Both lectures start at 8pm and run for two hours. Tickets are £5 on the door. More details from Joe on 07704 512060.
