Since being re-opened in March 2011, following the disastrous flooding of 2008 and the 28-month-long complete re-organisation which that necessitated, various events have been held in St Andrew’s Church, Feniton as well as the many services forming part of the active Christian life of the parish.
The versatility of the church has been shown by the staging of a supper with an ‘antiques roadshow’, a barn dance, quiz night and All on a Winter’s Night with Johnny Coppin and Friends.
Now, on Friday, February 24, there is to be a concert by local musicians Stephen Tanner and Andrew Downton who perform as Organ Two.
The evening is billed as an evening of music with organ and other instruments.Fun for everyone.
Stephen Tanner is director of music at Exeter Cathedral and assistant organist of the girl choristers, Exeter Cathedral and Andrew Downton is director of music at South Dartmoor Primary Schools and assistant director of Exeter Cathedral Outreach Programme
The concert will begin at 7.30pm; but for tickets and information, contact Ann Reed 01404 850366 or e-mail ann.reed@tiscali.co.uk
