It’s a busy time in East Devon. Here are just a few events.

● Ottery St Mary Bowling Club will be hosting a Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 8 not Friday, December 7.

It is being held from 10am until noon at the Institute, Yonder Street.

● Students at The Axe Valley Community College are staging a performance of We Will Rock You.

It will take place at the college on from Tuesday, December 11, until Thursday, December 13.

Performances start at 7pm and audiences will be treated to an evening of live music, dance performances and special effects, all to a Queen theme.

A must for all Queen fans and air guitar fanatics!

Tickets are on sale in the college reception: £5 adults, £4 children. Refreshments available.

● A piece by Gordon Langford, Patron of SeatonMusic, will be one of the highlights on Thursday, December 6, when Robert Plane, clarinet, Alice Neary, cello, and Sophia Rahman, piano, return with a programme dominated by English music.

It will be held at 7.30 pm, at Seaton Town Hall. Tickets £12.50 on the door or in advance from the Town Hall box office, 01297 625699.
