Woodbury Under-12s enjoyed a 95-run success over Exmouth when the side’s met in a Bradleys East Devon Youth League match.
Batting first Woodbury closed on a powerful 173-5 from their 20 overs.
Max Handford led the scoring spree with a seven boundary knock of 30 before retiring with his wicket intact.
Joesph Rockey contributed 13 and Mathew Williams chipped in with 10.
There were some useful partnerships; the opening wicket saw Sam Corney –and Joseph Rockey put on 39 and then Rockey and Mathew Williams put on 40 for the second wicket before Rockey and Max Handford added another 46 for the fourth wicket.
Five Exmouth bowlers, Austin, Whatmore, Gorfin, Baker and Vine, claimed a wicket each. The latter also kept wicket well, bagging a brace of stumpings.
The Exmouth reply was restricted to 78-8 with young Vine completing a very good all-round effort with the top score of nine.
Jack Hope picked up two wickets for 14 runs and there was a wicket each for Elloit Mann, Sam Corney, Mathew Shaw-Smith and Max Handford.
Rockey bagged a brace of stumpings and Mann took a pair of 2 and engineered a smart run out with a direct throw.
