Woodbury Reserves 0, Alphington Reserves 5
Alphington started the brighter and took the lead after 20 minutes with an unstoppable shot that gave Woods glovesman Doble no chance.
The lead was swiftly doubled after a mix-up in the home defence.
Woodbury regrouped and played their way back into the game, going into half-time the two goals in arrears.
After the break Woodbury started sharply and new signing Luke Bradford raced clear only to be denied by a superb save by the Alphas keeper.
Josh Cuthbert missed a far post header which he would normally have clinically despatched before the visitors made a triple substitution which had n instant effect as they added three more goals to consign Woods to a heavy defeat.
