Archant

At last there is enough dry weather for those parts of our course that need to be addressed by the green keepers in readiness for an ever increasing busy season, writes John Bridgman.

The Woodbury Park senior section played a match at Saunton Golf Club and unfortunately suffered a heavy defeat by seven games to one.

We therefore look forward to their visit later in the year when perhaps we can show them a thing or two!

Last Sunday the Skinner / Playford Foursomes first round began which resulted in the first sixteen of the teams involved go through to round two.

The next round will see team one play team sixteen and team two play team fifteen and so on.

The ensuing rounds are played before a specified time limit until the eventual winners will be revealed.

Until the next time. Happy golfing!
