The visitors began confidently and took advantage of what seemed an edgy United defence to take a first half lead.

It did not help the United caused that a bite was lacking in midfield and there was some wasteful passing in the final third.

Only a breakaway near half time saw United level thanks to a neat finish from a tight angle by Ed White.

After the break United looked far more organised and composed. Spike O’connel and Billy Creswell both had chances to increase the lead before White bagged his second from the edge of the box.

With the United back line now in control it allowed Ollie Morey and Mat Mottishead the chanced to push forward and the points were sealed when substitute Finlay found the back of the net to complete the scoring.
