Topsham St James Under-15s were handsome winners when they played at Woodbury.
The home team won the toss and opted to bat, but they lost their first three batsmen cheaply before Rory Haddow (19) and Will Bird (13no), helped them to a close of 63-3.
The pick of the Topsham St James bowling was the spell of Charlie Goodfellow who sent down four overs one of which was a maiden and he claimed two wickets for seven runs.
The Topsham St James reply was launched by Aiden Pring and Cameron Robison. At the fall of the first wicket, Ben Haigh came to the crease and made 25 with James Wright finishing unbeaten on 20, as the winning line was crossed with five overs remaining.
The star of the Woodbury bowling was 10-year-old Emma Corney who claimed two wickets for 13 runs from three splendid overs.
