Paul, who helps to organise competitions and promote table tennis throughout the South West, has played for 40 years and won bronze medal in the commonwealth men’s doubles and is a UKCC level 3 coach.

Paul had sixteen junior club members practicing forehand and backhand top spin shots during the evening.

Playing four to a table the youngsters were coached in the techniques and were advised as they practiced these.

Within the club there are some talented young players and coaching of this standard really helps to raise their game level.

All participants behaved throughout the evening and are a credit to the youngsters of Exmouth.

They would like to say a big thank you to Paul who said he would happily visit the club again in the future.
