Exmouth United Under-14s were worthy winners of an enthralling East Devon derby.

It was certainly a contest of two very contrasting halves!

United dominated the first period, racing into a four goal interval lead. Harry Ottaway (2), Max Reader and Iuean Kidd were the scorers.

After the break the Wasps powered back with Louis Hilton (2) and Callum Lefebvre scoring their goals to make it 4-3.

United dug deep and an Ollie Toomey goal completed the scoring in favour of the hosts after a thrilling encounter. George Allen had a fine game at the heart of the United defence whilst Morgan Taverner covered every blade of grass for the Wasps.
